Zakspeed 1987

Zakspeed entered Formula 1 in 85 not only as a team, but also as an engine manufacturer. Zakspeed is one of the teams to make a "full" commitment to F1 with the support of German cigarette manufacturer West.
In the end in 89, Zakspeed turned to Yamaha for its final year and abandoned its engine, which was too difficult to develop and make reliable.
